Alive and Adjusting...
No, I haven't been drinking alcohol! I've been working on writing articles so needing to be more creative :) (I wrote SIX articles last week!)
I'm alive, though somewhat absent in email updates. My laptop has given me a lot of issues and now it doesn't work, so I'm still getting it fixed. It's quite the hassle having international warranty with Dell, but not being in the database! It's frustrating, but I know that it probably isn't that frustrating, but since so many things are not familiar, little things become more aggravated.
In a mere 3 days, I will have reached my two months of being here in Taiwan. Two months doesn't seem very long, only 8 weeks. for pictures of my life in taiwan, please click on the below link (you do not need an account)

You might wonder how I've been doing. Well, there are good days and hard days, never really bad, just adjusting. I'm grateful for many things. Here are some things:
1.) All that I am not, God is...
1.) I have great coworkers that I honor, respect, and enjoy being with.
2.) I love the school that I'm at, the mission of the school, and I get to share that vision with others!
3.) I'm covered and daily see God's goodness to the school.
4.) I love the physical campus equipped with a great library, track, and weight room ALL that I've used regularly.
5.) Running! I'm running again! Though not as much as I used to. I've been able to go at least once a week and I'm now trying to work up to two runs a week.
6.) Full-size oven! I've been able to bake! Some of the items: strawberry rhubarb bar, apple oat cookies, blueberry muffin, double chocolate cookies, and apple crisp!
7.) E-mail. Though I can't sit at work and type a long filled update, I have been able to keep in touch with people and it's such a joy!
Things I'm learning:
1.) How to turn to God when I feel isolated and away.
2.) that I'm in Taiwan completing God's call, not just working conveniently at Morrison since my parents want me back in Taiwan.
3.) design/computer software! Adobe is my new friend that I hang out with every day. It's very multi-talented with photoshop, illustrator, and indesign :)
4.) how to love my parents and honor them.
5.) how to have confidence in my work
many people ask me: have you found a church yet. to be honest, i haven't been able to visit as many as i like. also, i have also spent some weekends at my parents', so i haven't been able to go to church.
even this morning, i've just listened sermons at home since i having lunch with an uncle coming to town with other relatives. i hope to find one soon and get plugged into a small group.
what else do you want to know? leave me a comment :)
hope you all are doing well!
